Clinical Work & Teaching

Miranda Featherstone is a licensed social worker specializing in work with families and children. She holds an MSW from New York University and an MA in Child Development from Sarah Lawrence College, and currently works as the school counselor at The Croft School in Providence, RI. Miranda’s areas of interest include grief and loss, sexual health education, and how schools can support children’s understandings of social justice. She has lectured at the Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research on supervising and supporting social work graduate students.

Miranda also teaches sexual health education and consults with schools wishing to create inclusive sex education curricula for elementary, middle, and high school students. She is available as a speaker for groups of both educators and caregivers.
